This five member board was established in accordance with the Virginia and Berryville Codes to review requests for certificates of appropriateness within the boundaries of the Berryville Historic District and to assist the Planning Commission and Town Council with matters related to the administration of historic district requirements.
Architectural Review Board members are appointed by the Town Council for four year terms.
The Architectural Review Board meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 12:30 p.m. Special meetings and work sessions are scheduled as needed; once a meeting is scheduled it will be placed on the Calendar.
All meetings are held at the Berryville-Clarke County Government Center, located at 101 Chalmers Court, in the AB Meeting Room, unless otherwise advertised.
Citizens are strongly encouraged to attend meetings of the Architectural Review Board.
