Summer 2024 Paving Operations

Update July 1, 2024

 

The Town of Berryville chose Stuart M. Perry, Inc. to complete its spring and summer 2024 paving projects. 

 

Summer Paving

The next phase of the Town’s 2024 paving operations will include work on the following streets: Jack Enders Boulevard from East Main Street to the Berryville Graphics Entrance, Liberty Street, Lincoln Avenue, and McGuire Circle. Work is scheduled to commence on July 15, 2024 and be completed on July 19, 2024. More specifically, the contractor expects to observe the following schedule:

July 15, 2024 

Lincoln Avenue

 

July 16, 2024 

                                                  Liberty Street

 

 

 

July 17 & 18, 2024   

McGuire Circle

 

July 19, 2024

Jack Enders Boulevard from East Main Street to the Berryville Graphics Entrance

 

Crews will return to Lincoln Avenue, Liberty Street, and Jack Enders Boulevard to install stone shoulders on or about July 22, 2024. The contractor expects to commence shoulder restoration work on July 22, 2024 and be finished by July 25, 2024.

 

Please note that the schedule enumerated above are subject to change because of factors such as inclement weather and mechanical failures. If work is not completed on a given date, then the contractor will likely mobilize as soon as the condition that required the delay abates. If projects are delayed, then mobilization dates on projects down the schedule will be also be delayed.

 

Parking restrictions will be posted in affected areas at least 48 hours prior to commencement of work.

 

No operations will occur on Sundays or Town-recognized holidays.

 

During paving and shoulder restoration operations, area residents and those traveling through the project area should expect noise, dust, traffic delays, and parking restrictions. Vehicles parked within restricted areas will be towed at the owner’s expense.
